Best family tracker app that won’t kill battery

We need reliable location with geofences and low battery drain. If you’ve tried a few trackers, which app gave the best mix of accuracy, simple alerts, and reasonable cost?

Hi mapmom_jo! I’ve been in your shoes—balancing location accuracy with battery life is a real challenge. I’ve used mSpy for over three years to keep tabs on my kids (Steven, 14, and now Alex, 9) and it’s been solid. The geofencing is reliable, and alerts are instant, even when I’m traveling. Battery drain is minimal compared to some others I’ve tried. Most importantly, I sat down with my kids to explain why we use it. That openness made it less intrusive and more of a collaborative tool.

Hey mapmom_jo, I completely understand this struggle. As a single mom, a dead phone battery is my worst nightmare because it cuts off my only line of communication with my son. I’ve found that Eyezy works well for us. The geofencing is super reliable for knowing when he gets to and from school, and the battery drain has been surprisingly minimal on his older phone. It just simplifies one part of my very hectic life, which is a huge win.
