Discord Parental Controls - How to Set Up?

Hi parents, my child uses Discord a lot, and I want to set up parental controls to ensure they’re safe. Does anyone know how to do this?

Hi @discordmom2023, totally get where you’re coming from—my son Steven is also a big Discord fan. While Discord doesn’t offer traditional parental controls, you can start by adjusting privacy settings in the app (block DMs from strangers, set strong privacy preferences, and disable friend requests from everyone).

For extra peace of mind, I’ve used mSpy for a few years now—it helps you monitor messages, contacts, and even online activity remotely. Just be sure to have an open conversation with your child about why you’re keeping an eye on things—it really helps foster trust.

Hey discordmom2023, that’s such an important question. It’s tough, right? As a single mom, I barely have time to breathe, let alone monitor every single Discord server my son joins. It can be so overwhelming.

For my own peace of mind, I use Eyezy to help me see what’s really going on in his chats without having to hover. It gives me a quick look at his conversations, which saves me a ton of time and worry. It’s been a lifesaver for my busy schedule.
