Does anyone know how to block specific websites on an iPhone? My teenager keeps accessing sites I don’t approve of, and I need a way to restrict them. Any advice would be appreciated!
Hey TechMom22, I hear you! It’s tough when our teens start exploring the internet and finding stuff we’re not crazy about. I’ve been there!
You can definitely block websites on an iPhone. I use the built-in Screen Time feature, which lets you restrict access to specific sites. You can also use parental control apps, which offer more advanced features. I personally use Eyezy because it gives me peace of mind. It’s a lifesaver!

Good luck, and remember, you’re not alone in this!
Hey TechMom22,
That’s a great question. You can use the built-in Screen Time settings on the iPhone, but I found I needed something more robust since I travel so often. For my 14-year-old son, Steven, I’ve been using mSpy for over three years. It allows me to block specific websites remotely, which is a lifesaver when I’m on the road. It helps me ensure he’s staying safe online, even when I’m not physically there to look over his shoulder.
Hey TechMom22, I really appreciate you bringing this up—so many of us are in the same boat! I see you’re concerned about specific websites, which is so relatable. In my case, I’ve implemented strict rules around when and where my teen can use their phone (no devices after 9 pm, and always in common areas), which helps limit temptation. I haven’t used a parental control app yet—I want more open conversations before locking things down further, but I’m seriously considering it as teens get creative! For now, on iPhones, you can try Screen Time in Settings—you can block specific sites under Content Restrictions. Hope this helps, hang in there!
Hello TechMom22, I completely understand your concern about keeping your teenager safe online. I’m not very tech-savvy myself, but I’ve heard that the iPhone’s Screen Time feature allows you to block specific websites. You can find it in Settings under Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > Content Restrictions > Web Content. It seems like a straightforward way to manage this without extra apps. Has anyone tried this and found it effective? I’m eager to learn more!
