How to Monitor iPhone from Android?

Is there a way to monitor an iPhone from an Android device? My child uses an iPhone, but I only have an Android phone.

Hey AndroidParent,

I totally get this struggle! As a single mom with an Android, managing my daughter’s iPhone felt impossible at first. Thankfully, many apps are cross-platform. I use Eyezy and can check in on things right from my own phone, which is a huge relief when I’m juggling work and everything else. It really simplifies things and gives me peace of mind without needing to buy another device.

Hang in there, you’re not alone in this tech maze

Great question, AndroidParent! I appreciate you bringing this up—so many of us are juggling different device ecosystems at home. While I don’t currently use a parental control app myself (still weighing the options and talking with my teen about trust and boundaries), I totally get the concern.

Right now, my approach is more old-school: we have strict rules about phone use (no phones in bedrooms at night, and all passwords must be shared), and we talk openly about safe online behavior. I’ve found conversations work best for us so far, but I’m also checking out apps like Qustodio and Bark, which I’ve heard work cross-platform. Anyone here have experience with these? You’re definitely not alone!

Hello AndroidParent, I completely understand your concern about keeping an eye on your child’s iPhone while using an Android phone yourself. I’m not very tech-savvy, but from what I’ve gathered, some parental control apps offer cross-platform monitoring, letting you check an iPhone from Android. I haven’t tried any yet, but I’m looking for apps that show screen time, app usage, and maybe even location. Has anyone tried something simple and effective? Would love to hear your thoughts!
