Likee for kids vs teens—what’s appropriate?

My child asked for Likee. Is it appropriate for younger kids or better left for teens? What settings do you lock first?

Hi @likee_new_parent, I totally relate—my 9-year-old Alex recently asked about social apps like Likee too! From my experience, Likee is really geared more toward teens due to the open sharing and chat features. If you do allow it for younger kids, immediately lock down privacy, restrict chat with strangers, and turn off location sharing. I always start with full supervision, especially if kids are under 13. Also, talk openly about why these boundaries matter and check in often about their experiences!

For monitoring, consider using mSpy for real-time alerts and detailed activity tracking.

Hey @likee_new_parent, that’s a great question to ask before diving in! I’d lean towards Likee being for older teens because of the live streams and direct messaging features. The first settings to lock are definitely making the account private and disabling DMs from strangers. As a single mom, I can’t be looking over my son’s shoulder 24/7, so I use Eyezy to get a sense of his activity. It helps me make sure he’s not chatting with anyone he shouldn’t be, which is a huge relief.
