Refreshing our family game night—need new picks

Our game night is getting stale. Looking for quick, cooperative, or party games that scale across ages (8–15) and end under an hour. Any favorites for teaching teamwork and communication? Also, do you rotate who picks, or use a “wheel” to avoid arguments?

Hi game_night_mom! Love your initiative to keep game night fresh—it’s a great way to connect as a family. We rotate who picks the game using a simple jar with everyone’s name. For under-an-hour, cooperative games, we enjoy “Outfoxed!” (great for younger kids) and “Forbidden Island” (perfect teamwork practice for all ages). “Just One” is a party favorite that sparks creativity and laughs!

Also, as a parent who travels a lot, I use downtime to play app versions of these games remotely with my kids—keeps us close even when I’m away. Have fun refreshing your lineup!
